What do Coca-Cola, Ricola, and Jägermeister have in common? All three brands trust the IT consultancy Peak & Peak for their digitalization efforts. Based in Mannheim, Peak & Peak specializes in the consumer goods industry, developing customized solutions tailored to their needs. Since its founding in 2015, the company has utilized the Salesforce software platform to connect business processes, manage customer relationships, and enhance operational transparency. The firm later focused on companies whose products are sold in retail outlets. In 2024, Peak & Peak merged with Cynqed AG, a Swiss competitor.

"The challenge for our clients is that they do not sell their products directly to end consumers, but rather through retailers," explains Managing Director and co-founder Raphael Ney. The IT consulting firm helps clients organize their sales strategies using digital tools.

This includes managing and designing pricing conditions and promotional campaigns. "We assist with calculations, guide the planning process, and monitor the project's implementation and success," Ney adds.

Another focus is on online platforms that allow companies to process orders — providing a digital alternative to the often cumbersome methods of ordering via telephone or fax. Additionally, Peak & Peak offers data analysis and business intelligence services. Clearly designed dashboards visualize essential data for quick insights, Ney continues.

In some cases, artificial intelligence is employed to evaluate information rapidly and effectively.

"Consumer goods manufacturers frequently face the challenge of a slowly growing market, as they typically deal with basic consumer goods," Ney explains. Instead of aiming for rapid growth, these companies concentrate on expanding their market share and protecting their profit margins.

Peak & Peak supports them with data-driven analyses. The firm benefits from its experience serving many businesses within the same industry. As Raphael Ney points out, change processes often take considerable time and involve various obstacles. "Above all, patience and perseverance are required."

The demand for services offered by Peak & Peak is evident in the company's steady growth. Currently, it employs around 80 people at various locations across Europe and the USA and serves clients worldwide. Each country presents unique requirements, such as different local regulations for spirits in each American state. Looking ahead, Peak & Peak aims to enhance its international presence while maintaining its roots in Mannheim, where it all began nearly ten years ago.
